Are you licensed?
Birmingham Property Management is a fully licensed brokerage. -
Can I reach you after hours?
Absolutely! We have a great system that allows us to quickly respond to maintenance request and owner calls. We do not utilize automated answering services. You will have our direct contact information. -
Can you put the money directly into my account?
Yes, we facilitate direct deposits. -
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
Yes, you may obtain a copy of the lease. Most owners are hiring us to manage their property so they are not involved in the manaagement processes and status of tenants on an on-going basis. We can and do accomodate both types of owners. Whether you want to remain an arms-length or be informed of the property/tenants, we work hard to accomodate that request. -
Do you sell real estate too?
Yes, we are very experienced in handling all types of real estate transaction. -
How and when do I get my checks?
We send all monies to our owners on the 10th of each month. -
How is rent collection handled?
Almost all tenants pay via our management website. We also accept money orders and cashiers check. -
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
Security depsits are equal to one month's rent. -
How soon can you start managing my property?
We are very passionate about growing our business and would be able to on-board new properties immediately. -
What type of properties do you manage?
We manage anything within the space of residenital housing to include single family homes and multifamily properties. -
Am I required to make my property available to Section 8?
No, Alabama laws do not require landlords and owners to accept voucher for housing.
